Privacy Policy

We The Indies LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates the My Astro Weather mobile application (the "App"). This page explains what information the App uses, how it is stored, and how you can remove it.

Information We Collect

Location Data

My Astro Weather requests your approximate location to calculate accurate planetary positions based on your geographic coordinates. Location data is used solely for astronomical calculations and is never transmitted to external servers or shared with third parties. Location data is processed on-device only.

Birth Data (Optional)

If you choose to use the birth chart feature, you may enter your date of birth, time of birth, and birthplace. This data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and is never uploaded to our servers or shared with anyone. You can clear your saved birth chart at any time from the app's Settings screen.

Purchases

Subscription purchases are handled directly by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit 2. We never see your payment details. The app only receives the anonymized entitlement status (whether you have an active subscription) from Apple.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email address, or contact information
• User registration or account data (none required)
• Advertising SDK data. We do not sell data to advertisers.
• Cookies or web tracking technologies
• Device identifiers for advertising purposes
• Third-party analytics. The App ships with no analytics SDK.
• Your calendar events. The App does not request calendar access and does not read, store, or transmit any events from your device calendars.

Data Storage

All personal data (birth charts, notification preferences, and app settings) is stored locally on your device. No personal data is stored on external servers.

Data Deletion

Because everything is stored on-device, removing your data is straightforward:

• To remove your saved birth chart only, open Settings inside the app and tap "Clear Saved Birth Chart".
• To remove every piece of data the App has stored, uninstall the App from your device. iOS deletes the App's entire on-device storage on uninstall.

Children's Privacy

My Astro Weather is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted to this page.
